Reception trip to Poole Park
Reception enjoyed good weather for their recent trip to Poole Park. One of the most exciting highlights was posting a letter home, handwritten back in class. Each class took some time to think about things they wanted to thank their families and carers for, such as playing games together, helping them to stay safe or going on special days out together. A few parents have confessed to shedding a tear or two at some of the lovely messages their child had written! Having posted our letters, we had fun creating natural art in the park, feeding the ducks and geese and enjoying a story. Everyone showed great resilience on the steep ascent up Birds Hill Road on the way back to school!
