French Introduction
At Longfleet, we are linguists. We believe that the learning of a foreign language provides a valuable educational, social and cultural experience for pupils. Children develop communication and literacy skills that lay the foundation for future language learning. They develop linguistic competence, extend their knowledge of how language works and explore differences and similarities between their native language and that of French.
Learning languages to provide an opening to other cultures. Children learn to develop their curiosity and deepen their understanding of the world through learning a modern foreign language (French).
