At Longfleet, we are historians. We believe that history should inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past. Our curriculum helps pupils to gain a coherent knowledge of the history of Britain and the wider world. We believe that the study of history helps to develop children’s understanding of the complexity of people’s lives, the process of change, the diversity of societies and relationships between different groups, as well as their own identity and the challenges of their time.
