Sports Day
Thu 08 Jul 2021Sports Day was set over two days this year (due to the weather), with Reception, Year 1 and Years 4-6 completing their track and field events on Friday 25th June, with Year 2/3 completing theirs on Tuesday 6th July. New records were set and the children had an amazing time over both days. The results were as follows:
Air House: 514 points
Fire House: 501 points
Water House: 463 points
Earth House: 437 points

To mark the end of their 10 week First Access Violin tuition programme, Year 5 have recorded four pieces for you to enjoy. Click on the link above to watch the videos. Thank you to Soundstorm for this fantastic opportunity and to the talented tutors, Jane Brewster and Dorota Stenwak. Finally and most importantly, a huge 'Well done!' to all of our Year 5 pupils. They exceeded our expectations! If you have a child in Year 5 who wants to continue to learn the violin, look out for a letter that is coming home today giving you information about progression lessons for some of our pupils next year.
