Our aim is to welcome, value and support our EAL children and their families.  We work hard to establish strong links with our parent/carers and their communities so that the children have the best possible opportunity to experience a ‘life in all its fullness’.
The support to children and families is offered at a range of levels and depending on the level of need may include:

  • Targeted interventions to boost vocabulary and communication as required  
  • 1:1 support / small group support   
  • Differentiated activities 
  • Phonics support 
  • Visual timetables  
  • Visual prompts  
  • Google Translate on the school website
  • Use of various technology
