St Mary's Longfleet Church

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17

St Mary's Church

"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." C.S Lewis

We are very proud of our strong links with St Mary’s Church and the church ethos runs clearly through the life of the school.

The team from St Mary's is lead by Vicar Andy Perry who is aided by Justin Tomkins (Curate). The team regularly participate in services such as the Harvest and Easter services - which are typically held in the School for the younger years and the Church itself for years 4-6.

Under the terms of the 1944 and 1988 Education Acts, all children must be involved in a daily act of collective worship. The children at Longfleet worship together as a class, as a first or middle school department or as a whole school.
