Safari Club is a breakfast and after school club run by Longfleet school staff. We are based in the small hall and also use the big hall for physical activities, the outside areas and the computer suite. Each day the small hall is set up with art activities, board games, play activities, construction and a book corner. We also arrange cooking activities, and gardening in the summer.
Breakfast Club has a long or short session. The long session starts at 7.30am and provides a breakfast of cereal, toast, bagels, pancakes or crumpets. Together with fruit juice or milk to drink. The short session starts at 8.10am.
After School Club also runs with a short or long session. The short session runs until 5pm and provides the children with a drink and snack of biscuits and fruit after school. The long session continues until 6pm and provides tea such as sausages and beans, chicken pasta bake, chicken goujons and spaghetti hoops, apple crumble and ice cream etc. This is served at about 5pm.
Reception and Year 1 children are collected from their classrooms at 3.15pm, older children make their own way to the small hall. We’re also able to pick them up from sports/dance/art clubs held in the school.
After breakfast club, we take the children to their classrooms for registration.

Registration
It will be necessary to do a “one off” registration form for your child for Safari club in advance of booking.
Booking take place on the Longfleet school Arbor Parent Portal, in the "clubs available" section. Payments can be made using childcare vouchers.
New Reception parents who wish to use the Wraparound Care for their son or daughter during the first few weeks in September should contact the Safari Club via the details below to book their place. Once your son or daughter has officially started at the school and have attended their first day in September we will be able to provide you with a log in to the online booking system.

- All sessions will need to be paid for at the time of booking.
- Payment will still be required for booked sessions even if your child does not attend e.g. goes to a play date or attends another club (cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before hand)
- If you are late for picking up you will be charged an extra £5 for every fifteen minutes.
- Bookings need to be made no later that 1 day in advance unless agreed via communication with the Safari club supervisor
- We reserve the right to withdraw any booking made if a parent or pupil is repeatedly not adhering to the school values, rules and policies.
