Longfleet's Lionesses
Fri 19 May 2017Longfleet's "Lionesses" took to the County Ground at Hamworthy Football Club to showcase their skills. For many it was their first taste of football matches against other schools and all the girls should be proud of their efforts. The event, created by the FA, included 10 teams, so the girls managed to play in 9 matches overall.

Bikeability Success!
Thu 18 May 2017Two groups of pupils in Year 5 and 6 have been taking part in ‘Bikeability’: a modern day ‘cycling proficiency’. The instructors were particularly impressed with the attitude and behaviour of the groups and everyone managed to achieve the ‘Level 2 Award’.

Year 6 Wheels Day
Thu 18 May 2017Year 6 enjoyed a special reward morning for their hard work in the preparation to their SATs. The children enjoyed riding their bikes, scooters and skates as part of their 'Wheels Day'. Well done to everyone in Year 6 for their positivity and perseverance!

Fidget Spinners
Mon 15 May 2017All crazes have their moments and we now feel that it would be beneficial to everyone if Fidget Spinners were left at home as from Monday. However, we have agreed to set up a Fidget Spinner Club (following a persuasive campaign from some of the pupils) for Year 5 and Year 6. Therefore Year 5 children will be allowed them in school on a Friday and Year 6 on a Tuesday.
