Cup victory for the Lions!
On Tuesday 30th November, an excited crowd at Longfleet cheered on the Year 5 and 6 football team to a tremendous victory in the first round of the Dorset Cup. Close neighbours St Marys took an early lead with a great finish and it stayed that way until just before half time when Tyler drew the game level.
In the second half, two excellent strikes from Phillip made it 3-1 and put Longfleet into the second round.
Well done to all of the players and the supporters who cheered them on!
