The Sports Ambassadors were invited to take part in a Sports Morning at Victoria School. Each activity was led by groups of students from Victoria School to give our children an insight into a variety of new sports and leadership responsibilities. It was an incredible experience for our children to see the amazing skills of students with additional needs and how expertly they communicated and led the sessions. Our Sports Ambassadors returned to school with an immense enthusiasm to promote excellent communication and inclusion through sport at Longfleet.
A report by Teddy (Sports Ambassador) can be found in the PE / Sports section of our website.
Year 1 had a brilliant day celebrating the start of their topic,
Whatever the Weather! They had a snow machine, a snowman competition and took part in The Great Ice Challenge. For more pictures see Year 1's class page.
We had tinsel and tea-towels galore at this year's Key Stage One nativity! Year 1 and 2 gave the audience an Oscar-worthy performance and received rave reviews from parents, friends and family. The teachers would like to express how very proud they are of all the children and thank them for all their hard work in rehearsals...Longfleet definitely has some stars in the making!
Our KS2 choir recently performed a selection of their Christmas songs at Kingston Lacy. Well done to all the pupils and Miss Webber for adding a little sparkle to Christmas.
